Addition of an Email or SMS contact
The operation is not permitted if an other email address and/or cell phone number has already been configured to receive the courtesy messages.
If an unknown address is entered on NP, an email is sent to that address with a code that must be entered to confirm the address. Only after confirmation can be the address be used in the notification process.
If an unknown cell phone number is entered on NP, an SMS is sent with a code that the user must enter to confirm that the entered number is correct. Only after confirmation can be the address be used in the notification process.
