How to create a client
Step 1 - Start the creation flow
E-service clients and PDND API clients are created in a very similar way. The only difference is the menu item to select.
E-service clients are intended to be associated with your purposes and to interact with the e-service APIs of producers.
PDND API clients, on the other hand, are intended to interact with the APIs exposed by PDND.
From the back office, go to the menu item Client management > E-service APIs or Client management > PDND APIs and then click Create new.
Step 2 - Assign a name and a description
Each client has a name and a description to help the party identify the group of people that is part of it (for example, employees of an internal or external software house of the party).
Step 3 - Define the members of a client
You can add any number of people to the client, provided that these people have accounts to operate on behalf of the party.
You can manage accounts from the Members Area platform, and more information is available in the dedicated section.
The roles allowed within a client are administrator and security operator.
Security operators do not necessarily have to be part of your party; they can also be people from your technology partner, for example. The important thing is that the party administrator registers the accounts on the Members Area platform and then adds the users to the client.
Step 4 - Create the client
At the bottom of the page, finalize the creation by clicking Create.
For best practices in managing your clients, see the dedicated section.
