Purposes
A declaration that the consumer submits to detail their reasons and methods for accessing the information held by the producer, as well as for its processing. A purpose is normally associated with an e-service for which a consumer has an active service request.
Essential information
- The associated e-service: which e-service, to which the party is subscribed, this purpose is intended to be used for. The declaration is binding, and the purpose cannot be used for other e-services.
- The name and description: help the consumer navigate among the purposes they have submitted.
- The risk analysis: the GDPR compliant questionnaire in which the goal, the methods of processing, and the retention of the data acquired are detailed. If the purpose is associated with an e-service that receives data, the risk analysis will be completed by the producer.
- The estimated load intended to be placed on the producer’s infrastructure, i.e., the number of calls per day expected to be made to the API exposed by the e-service; this estimate can be updated at any time. For more details, see the dedicated section.
- Any free-of-charge access and justification: indicate whether access to the data is provided free of charge (for Public Administrations, this is always the case), and give the justification. For Public Administrations, the field is pre-filled with the wording "I am a Public Administration".
- The associated clients: those through which a valid voucher can be obtained. Clients can only be associated with active purposes. For more details, see the dedicated section.
