Monitoring instances: tracking integrations
The template creator can monitor the status of the instances derived from the template at any time, either via API or manually. It is always possible to:
- Verify version alignment between the template and its instances (e.g., identify parties that have not yet updated their instance);
- Detect potential issues affecting the network of parties that have adopted the template;
- Direct support activities toward parties requiring assistance or updates.
Integration with the delegation mechanism
E-service templates are fully integrated with the delegation mechanism. Therefore, it is possible to:
- Delegate the producing of an instance derived from a template to another party;
- Delegate the consuming to subscribe to an instance derived from a template.
For consuming, the general rule already applicable to all e-services applies: service requests by delegation are allowed only if the producer of the instance has explicitly enabled this option in the e-service configuration (the setting is visible in the e-service page).
