Informing citizens
Why do it through IO?
- You can easily reach millions of citizens;
- You have a universal address available: all you need to know is the recipient's fiscal code;
- You have a qualified channel where you can send relevant communications, including via push notifications or email forwarding;
- You can easily send payment requests, attach files, or promote external resources (e.g., "Go to the website" button);
- You don't have to worry about managing subscriptions\unsubscriptions: citizens can do this independently in the app.
What tools do you have available?
The following functions can be used to inform citizens with IO:
| Function | Description | Available |
|---|---|---|
| “Basic” messages | Message transmitted by IO on behalf of the institution, free of charge. | ✅ |
| “Fast” messages | Messages with a transmission rate of about 4 million per day (higher than"basic") | ✅ signing the relative additional terms |
| Deadline reminder | Messages that contain a deadline or date to remember that citizens can add to their calendar | ✅ |
| Generic push notifications | The messages trigger a generic push notification that does not contain the sender or the subject of the message | ✅ |
| Speaking push notifications | Users can select to view the sender and the message subject in the push notification | ✅ |
| “Blue” check mark | The sending institution can know if and when the users read a message | ✅ signing the relative contract |
| Read reminder | Push notifications and emails that remind users that they have unread messages | ✅ signing the relative contract |
| Sending attachments | The sending institution can attach documents to messages | ✅ signing the relative contract |
