Obtaining a payment
The following functions can be used to obtain a payment from citizens via IO:

| Sending a payment request | A message containing information about the amount due can be sent in app. The user can proceed with the payment without having to enter any data. | ✅ |
| Payment status | Every time a payment request message is opened in app, the status is displayed. | ✅ |
| “Green” check mark | The sending institution can know if and when the users make a payment following a notification contained in a message | ✅ signing the relative contract |
| Payment reminder | Push notifications and emails that remind users of any payments that are due | ✅ |
| New payment methods for citizens | Users can pay in app with the payment systems offered by their device and via their bank account | pending |
| Payment receipts | The user automatically receives a message proof of payment attached in a pdf file, even if it has been made on other pagoPA channels. | ✅ |
