📄 Prepare the documents

First of all, you will prepare the documents to be sent to the user for signing. Sign with IO supports the signature of the following types of PDF files:

Standard PDF;
PDF/A-2A;
PDFs already signed with the PAdES signature.

How to create a PDF/A-2A

To create a PDF A/2-A, write the document in Word or Pages, respecting the guidelinesfor PDF A/2-A. The, when saving export the document as PDF A/2-A.

Do not scan the documents

Do not enter scanned documents converted to PDF. For more information, refer to the Guidelines for accessibility of IT instruments from AgID.
